READING! 

Reading is probably the most popular festival along side leeds. The Biggest Names play at Reading, Guns N Roses, Blink 182, The Libertines, WEEZER And much more. The festival has been going, in one shape or another since its conception

 as a Jazz event in 1961, a time when audio was in its ‘rock n roll infancy’; before the invention of music as we know it today and the time when the festival laid down its roots as the UK’s premier indie festival. 

The Location of Reading is fairly obvious, it's located in Reading and Is on Richfield Avenue. The dates for this years event are from the 27th - 29th August. Reading has lots of sponsors some of which are, NME, Relentless, Pepsi Max, Gaymers, TUBORG and Viagogo. These are big sponsors so you expect a good line up. 

Reading allows all ages but people under 16 must be accompanied by adults. Reading attracts a main indie audience. The Festival is very strict, no smoking, BBQ's, flags and aerosols are permitted on site.

BESTIVAL! 

The Bestival is an award winning 3 day boutique music festival set at Robin Hill a beautiful leafy country park (a veritable Garden of Eden!) near Downend and Newport in the heart of the Isle of Wight.

The wonderful world of Bestival was born out of ten fun years of pioneering music events and record releases from Rob da Bank's Sunday Best empire. The BBC Radio 1 leftfield DJ had a dream to one day create his vision of how the modern day festival should be. Along with Creative Director and wife Josie da Bank and co founders / partners John and Ziggy from Get Involved that dream is now fulfilled. On a mission to change the face 

of independent festival culture, the fearless foursome are bringing some magic to the shores of the Solent and spreading the love worldwide.

It's Rob and Josie da Bank's creative vision that sets Bestival apart. Whilst the massive musical brain of Rob ensures the Bestival line-up is the most eclectic you'll ever experience, it's Josie's creative wand that casts its magic over Bestival land. From the most original boutique campsite experience, to the Bollywood Cocktail Bar, fancy dress en mass and even a Hidden Disco, it's this uniqueness that makes Bestival a wondrous world of discovery and adventure that will inspire peace, love and dancing not only in September but all year round...

The first Bestival, in September 2004, was headlined by Basement Jaxx, Fatboy Slim, Zero 7, The Bees, Mylo and Lee 'Scratch' Perry and was a ground-breaking success. 

The bestival is located on the Isle Of White and is a 3 day festival starting on the 9th September and finishing on Sunday 12th September. The Bestival is aimed at a Funk audience from the age range of 16 +. Bestivals main sponsors  are Coca Cola and Heineken. They also have smaller sponsors like FHM, TVR, 24 Fun and many more.

Download Festival is the biggest Rock festival in the world, with the biggest names in Rock history playing over a three day period including Aerosmith, AC DC, Motorhead, Rage Against The Machine and many more. The festival is held at Donington Park, right next to East Midlands Airport Donington Park lies where the three counties of Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire meet. DOWNLOAD takes place on Friday the 11th June 2010. Download attracts anyone who has an interest in this genre of music (Rock). Download gets funding from many other music companies. KERRANG!, Bbc Radio 1, Metal Hammer, Classic Rock and hmv.
