Samba Homework

I selected this video of an american class performing samba at a spring fling because it reminded me of our Creative&Media class. They look like beginners and so is our Creative&Media class. Secondly I liked it because it was entertaining to watch and humorous at times.

The Performance was lively and vibrant, also the band was in time with each other and they knew who was doing what. Secondly they were all dancing along together which made the performance more lively and more professional. The band were in bright clothing like the brazilian carnivals. They also had the conductor in the middle, this shows us that they follow his commands.

It has been filmed at an american school in pennsylvania. It is a spring fling and directed by a man called Mike Steven's.

Campaign Reflexion Day

My Plan was to...

- Gain at least 12 signatures 

- Raise awareness and spread the word about my campaign 

- To receive feedback and criticism 

- To gain pictures as evidence for my campaign. 

My plans didn't really change I manage to gain 13 signatures and talk to some students about my campaign and receive small amounts of feedback. Lastly I managed to take pictures as proof of my campaign. I managed to Inform people about my campaign and meet some new people.

Next time I would put myself out more and try to inform more than 13 people about my campaign and maybe target groups of people instead of individual people. Because it would save time and effort talking to more people at one time. 

Next week I am going to send an email to Cambridge City Council and see if they can do anything to enforce or lower the price first. 

Today I managed to get 14 signatures from students at the college, through persuasion and them agreeing with my Campaign. I took a couple of pictures of students signing my petition.

Plan for Today's Campaigning

Today, I will be talking to and asking people of their views of my campaign and if they see potential in my campaign, then I will ask them if they would like to sign a petition to drive my campaign further. I will be trying to target Students and young people for my campaign because they are my target audience. I aim to spend about 3-4 minutes with every student or try to locate groups of students so I can save time and talk to more students at once. 

I will use different techniques like, persuasion, statistics and politeness to win my audience over and get them to sign my petition. I hope to get at least 12 signatures today because it's a good amount and can progress further after, if I please to do so.
